A VISIT TO CITY

Hotel Modern is een theatre group with the actresses Pauline Kalker and Arlène Hoornweg as it's core. Since 1996 their performances are the result of temporary collaborations with other fellow-artists. For STAD (city), HOTEL MODERN invited the actor/musician Ruud van der Pluijm and the visual artists Herman Helle, Carolien Adriaansche and Harriët van Reek. STAD is the working title of a performance by theatre group Hotel Modern which premiered under the title HEDEN STAD (city now) in January '98 in the Rotterdam theatre Lantaren/Venster.
